JEE Main 2025 Expected Cutoff: The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) is the first step for the aspirants to become the IITans. This is a national-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to filter out the students for the JEE Main Advanced. Candidates who got great scores are also accepted by top engineering colleges other than IITs. 

The first day, second shift of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 started at 3 pm. In this shift students are appearing for the Engineering (BE/BTech, paper 1) exam. The second shift will end at 6 pm. Some candidates who appeared for the test in the first shift in Patna said that the physics part was tough and rated the paper as ‘moderate’ in difficulty level.

The exam is scheduled for January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 (paper 1) and January 30 (paper 2, BArch/BPlanning). Admit cards for the first three days have been released at jeemain.nta.nic.i

JEE Main Passing Marks Out of 300 

The passing marks out of 300 in JEE Mains vary each year based on factors like the exam’s difficulty level, the number of candidates, and overall performance. Generally, to get the minimum qualifying marks for the JEE Advanced, candidates need a score of around 90-100 marks (general category) or the equivalent percentile. For reserved categories, the qualifying marks are typically lower. It is essential to check the official cut-off released by NTA after the exam for accurate details.
